Returns

At Amazonas UK, we offer a straightforward 14-day standard returns policy. For orders placed as gifts, we are happy to provide an extended returns policy on certain occasions.

Return Process for Customers:

Initial Steps:
- We require images of the product and any visible damage, as well as images of the packaging. This helps ensure transparency and fairness for all parties involved.
- Ensure the packaging is secure for the return journey. Please provide images of the packaged item as well. Fixing parts for wooden furniture items also need to be supplied, especially if the products have been removed and also built.

Return Options:
You can arrange the return directly or we can arrange a collection via DHL on a convenient day for the customer. The following fees apply:

- £12.00: Single / Double Hammocks / Accessories
- £12.00: Family Non-Spreader Hammocks
- £22.00: Family Spreader Bar Hammocks
- £22.00: Wooden Hammock Frames (Kronos / Apollo / Olymp)
- £22.00: Globo Chair (Royal / Single / Siena)
- £23.00: Globo Royal Stand
- £34.00: Troja / Arcus
- £32.00: Lounge Bed

Apply an additional £10 if being collected from Northern Ireland. An extra £14 for collections from Northern Scotland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Shetlands, or Scottish Islands. All prices include insurance, VAT, and fuel surcharges.

If the collection fails due to the customer's responsibility, a £10 fee will be charged for the failure, and a reattempt can then be made.

Processing Time:
During the high season (April-September), returns can take up to 7 days to be fully resolved once received at our warehouse. We strive to minimize this time as much as possible.

Returns Due to Our Liability:
- If the return is due to our liability (e.g., damaged in transit, agreed warranty claim, or picking errors), we will cover all costs and insurance.
- If we delivered the wrong item or it arrived damaged, we will pay for the return delivery costs (photographic or video proof of damage is required). This type of return must be communicated to us within 24 hours of delivery.

Refunds:
- Refunds will be processed to the card used for the original payment. A full refund may not be applicable if the product is damaged or not in pristine condition. We will provide photographic and video evidence to clarify the condition.
- An assessment will be made for each case, and a proportional refund will be issued based on the product’s resale value. In some cases, where the product is unsellable, a zero refund will be made, and the item will be donated to local charity shops.

Special Considerations for Wooden Items:
- For wooden items (e.g., Kronos Hammock frame) that have been assembled, there will naturally be imprints on the wood, deeming it a clearance item. This will be taken into account during the assessment.
- Wooden items must be returned in the original packaging. If this is not possible, the customer must make sufficient attempts to rebox or wrap the item securely for transit. Images of the packed item must be provided before authorizing the return. In some cases, we may have to refuse the return at this stage.
